I am a trained secondary school teacher who has been a Head of Department and Head of Spanish. I have taught for 6.5 years including all levels of NCEA, IB standard level and ab initio, GCSE and A levels. I have guided students through both internal and external assessments and am knowledgeable about what it takes to achieve well. Through University I achieved all A or A+ for Spanish Language and Culture papers.

My approach to tutoring is to facilitate the student's learning through questioning and providing challenge and support. I believe it is important for the student to hear as much target language as possible while still being provided with the support needed to succeed. My programme is dependent on the individual goals and needs of the students and I work closely with them to assist them in achieving these goals.
